Physician-Supervised Weight Loss

Your Weight Loss Wellness Health Journey Starts Here

Our licensed physicians evaluate whether GLP-1 medication may be appropriate for your weight management goals — all through convenient telehealth visits.

Individual results may vary. GLP-1 medications require a prescription and are not appropriate for everyone. A licensed provider will determine if this treatment is right for you.

Three Simple Steps

Getting started with your weight management journey is straightforward.

01

Complete Your Health Assessment

Fill out a brief online questionnaire about your health history, current medications, and weight management goals. This assessment is the first step — it does not replace a physician consultation.

02

Physician Consultation

A licensed physician reviews your information and conducts a live telehealth consultation to determine if GLP-1 therapy may be appropriate for you. No prescriptions are written without a physician evaluation.

03

Begin Your Program

If prescribed, your medication is sent directly to you from a licensed pharmacy. Your care team provides ongoing support through regular follow-up consultations.

See If You May Qualify

GLP-1 medications are generally considered for patients with a BMI of 30+, or 27+ with weight-related health conditions. Calculate yours below.

BMI is a screening tool, not a diagnostic measure. Your physician will conduct a comprehensive evaluation during your consultation to determine if GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for you.

What Are GLP-1 Receptor Agonists?

GLP-1 receptor agonists are a class of prescription medications originally developed for type 2 diabetes management. Some GLP-1 medications have also been prescribed by physicians for weight management in qualifying patients.

These medications work by mimicking a naturally occurring hormone that may help regulate appetite and food intake. Your physician will discuss how these medications work, potential benefits, and possible side effects during your consultation.

Important: GLP-1 medications are prescription-only and require evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider. They are not appropriate for everyone, and individual results vary. Side effects may occur — your physician will discuss these during your consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are GLP-1 receptor agonists?

GLP-1 receptor agonists are a class of prescription medications that mimic a naturally occurring hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1. They were originally developed for type 2 diabetes management and have since been prescribed by physicians for weight management in eligible patients. Your physician will explain how they work during your consultation.

Who is eligible for this program?

Eligibility is determined by a licensed physician based on your individual health profile, medical history, current medications, and weight management goals. Not everyone who applies will qualify — the physician's evaluation ensures that GLP-1 therapy is clinically appropriate for your specific situation. Generally, candidates have a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI of 27 or above with weight-related health conditions.

Is the online questionnaire the same as a consultation?

No. The online health assessment is a preliminary intake form that helps our physicians prepare for your consultation. It does not replace a live physician evaluation. All patients receive a telehealth consultation with a licensed physician before any treatment decisions are made. No prescriptions are written based solely on the questionnaire.

What should I expect during my telehealth consultation?

During your telehealth visit, a licensed physician will review your health assessment, discuss your medical history, and evaluate whether GLP-1 medication may be appropriate for you. They will explain the potential benefits, possible side effects, and answer any questions you have. The consultation typically takes 15–20 minutes.

How much does the program cost?

Our plans start at $199/month for a 6-month commitment, $249/month for 3 months, or $299/month with no commitment. All plans include physician consultations, medication (if prescribed), and ongoing care. We offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees. FSA and HSA payments are accepted. Contact us at info@mwclinical.com or call (708) 866-1061 for details.

Are there potential side effects?

Like all prescription medications, GLP-1 receptor agonists may cause side effects. Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and decreased appetite, particularly when starting treatment. Your physician will discuss all potential side effects, risks, and contraindications during your consultation and will monitor you throughout your program.

What states do you currently serve?

Our telehealth services are currently available in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and Kentucky. Our physicians are licensed to practice in these states. We are actively expanding our coverage area. During the eligibility assessment, we'll confirm whether services are available in your state.

How is my personal health information protected?

We take your privacy seriously. All personal health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Our telehealth platform uses encrypted connections, and we never share your medical information without your explicit consent except as required by law. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

Where does my medication come from?

If your physician determines GLP-1 therapy is appropriate, your prescription is filled by a licensed pharmacy and shipped directly to you. We work with pharmacies that meet all applicable state and federal regulations for prescription medication dispensing and handling.
